Here are a few writing tips for writing better page Titles for SEO. You can write the best article in the world but don't forget to use the tips mentioned.

If I’m allowed to pick just one SEO metric that’s most important out of all that I knew, then that would be the Page Title. Why ? Let me explain.

First, let me clarify what SEO Page Titles are. Page Titles are the long piece of text that’s displayed on the browser, not your post (on the content.)

Many people confuse the Post Title to Page Title, because most of the times both of them are the same. Not all the time. To explain that further, let’s go straight to the tips.

As a professional copywriter, there’s one question that tends to pop up constantly from my readers and clients … “Can you teach me to write like you?”

My knee-jerk answer is usually something like, “Um. No. There is no other like me! I reign supreme! Me! Me! Me!”

OK, I’m not really that egocentric.

But I do typically respond with something along the lines of “I’d love to teach you how, but I don’t know how I do it … I just do it.” And then I run off to a dark corner somewhere to eat sweet potato French fries like they’re going outta style.

Writing meaningful, effective content day in and day out is difficult. To say the least.

I’ve thought a lot about how I get it done, and have come up 3 steps that serve me well, over and over again.

One thing that many people forget to do is to be extremely observant of the things going on around them. If you take yourself away from the screen and head out to see what's going on within the streets it can work wonders.

I find that seeing how businesses market themselves, how people interact, and what makes the town lively can give you insight that can spur ideas for a creative piece of content.

These are useful tips. But sometimes, even when every single thing that has been said and done, all to no avail, I still can't write.

I used to write articles one after another because I was beating deadlines, causing me in the end (the last article and the easiest at that) with a writer's block, I don't even know what to write to begin with even if I have the title staring at me. My friend came to my rescue and told me that my brain is not a production line. Rest when you need it. Simply said but it works.

This is something that i have trouble with sometimes.

There’s nothing like grabbing your attention by using a title that includes a parody from a Culture Club song from the 1980s!

Chameleons are known to change colors and adapt to their environment. This works as a great defense mechanism for them so they don’t become a hungry predator’s prey. Much like the Chameleon blends in with its surroundings, the comma should blend into your sentence and make it flow. If not, a hungry predator could come along and swallow your article whole!

When blogging, to keep your readers following you til the very end of your post, try to use a variety of different organizational patterns such as mixing up short and long sentences. Or using some independent clauses. And some dependent ones! English grammar should be fun!

The blank page is a damn nightmare.

The writers of the ages have feared it more than evil spirits, wasting disease and visiting in-laws.

Yet, if you want something to happen, you’ve got to spill the ink on that thing.

You’ve got to do it every day.

Like a detective, the writer is always digging.

And when that digging unearths ideas, the writer is desperate for a way to get them down.

I usually get those ideas flowing when I am travelling or driving. I type the ideas in my memo or when driving try my best not to forget them. Reading forum posts and articles published by my friends in the same niche also helps.
