SEO Copywriter, how many articles can you make a day ?
Hi, I've been given a task from my boss, while doing SEO, also need to write article.
Since I'm doing whole job alone, I only have a few moments to write article, and I think In half day, I only can make one article (Not high-level attractive, but at least, it's worth to read I think)
So, How many articles can you (SEO copywriters) write a day ?

It depends on personal skills. some professionals can write up to 10 articles a day if they work full time. But even one article per day can help your ranking a lot. Write one article and submit it to about 20 famous article directories and you see good improvement on the position of the website of your boss.

Yes you are right my friend. It is not a child play to write one article for web page. I can write only 3 in a whole day. It will genuine, not copy, paste or edited article. If you are original in your writing, I bet you will will

I've known copywriters to do about 4-5 500 word articles in an entire day. But I guess it depends on the kind of subject you're writing about as well. Some subjects require more research and aren't so easy to write.

Correct Annabelle07, I know few content writers who are able to write 5-6 articles on a daily basis. however, when I asked them to provide a content on a unique topic, they took around a full day to provide me with the content.

I'd like to share my opinion on this post. Personally, I think it perfectly normal to write 2 quality articles per day, if we're talking about articles from the same niche. I really do not think that the writer can change several times own view and write a quite different articles. Sometimes it is very difficult to think out of the the box.
To create quality content, everything must be carefully thought out - I'm talking about quality and quantity, density of keywords, synonyms, etc.

Depends on the writer's skills and knowledge of the niche. I've written 10 articles in a day before and they were all top quality, but that was a niche I knew well. Still, five good articles a day on a topic I've thoroughly researched is not too difficult. But there's a huge difference between article writing and sales copy. 500 words of sales copy can easily take four or five times longer than a 500 word informative article, and requires more drafting and revision.

I can write 10 articles a day, but that is only where I am essentially amalgamating information from 2 or 3 sources. When extensive research is required then 1 article a day is more like it.

You could always write the article in your language then use a translation converter to convert it to English.

It depends on the type of article that's needed. If it's about SEO for example, then I can churn about 1 400-word article for every hour, that includes research and proofing. I've done 10 in a day, all of which are for basic article submissions etc.
If it's a subject that I like, I can even go faster It's far easier to write about something that interests you actually.
If it's copy that's going live on a website though, I often "waste" hours proofing and editing the copy just to make it perfect. Client feedback is also a factor that can make the process much more challenging.

I once wrote 1 500-word article per hour for 8 hours every day for a few days, then i quit cause I realized that earning $1 per article was inhumane.

It depends on what I'm writing about. If it is technical stuff then I need more time, if I write about 'general, every day experience' then it's easier.

I can write 8 to 10 articles if they are on a subject I'm already very familiar with. If I need to do some research, then I can write 5 or 6.

It is quality VS quantity. But good quality 500 word articles (with good pay rate) can be written @ $10 per article without any issue.
