To write a quality article you have to understand about the matter for which you write the article. Then you have to write the article by maintaining right grammar and spelling. That makes your article wonderful.

Some research and a lack of spelling/grammar errors isn't enough to make an article "wonderful", but it's a good start Now, if you can combine that with writing that actually shows off your voice, engages your readers, and leaves them thinking that you're a true expert who's better than the competition, then you've got a truly wonderful article!

The technique is RESEARCH. You have to make a good research and at least experience what you're about to write so you will be able to come up with something really awesome.

I like how painfreeprofits defined the profits, however I'd like to add one key:
Be first to market with a scoop, visit events that are interesting, pre-write an article, edit while you are there and insert photos. Upload and submit to social bookmarking etc. to be first to market. Anyone searching for that topic will find that you have the only content and that in and of itself will be of great benefit.

Really for me, when I'm writing articles.. I just try to make sure it's something I actually know about at an above average level. That way I can express well informed opinions as well as adding my own view point. Cuz, originality is a key point.

Google likes longer articles, more and more these days. Even if you are writing a blog, provide comprehensive information for your topic.

No one like short articles or short blog posts in which never get the point accross with so little words.
The longer the article, the more you can incorprate your keywords into it without keyword stuffing the article. This is what i do. Ya'll may disagree with me but i know what works for me. lol

In writing whether whatever kinds of media, three important words must be remembered: UNITY, COHERENCE, and EMPHASIS. All your sentences must be related to your topic (unity). Sentences should flow in a smooth manner (coherence). Your main topic or what you really want to say can be determined easily (emphasis).

I start with an outline, create bullet points and then go from there. When I know the key points that I want to discuss, everything is much easier to write and flows much better.
I think that if you create an outline, you tend to be more concise and are able to convey your message more clearly. Plus, you dont ramble on about things that are irrelevant.

To make quality articles you have to hone your skills as a writer first. I know not everyone has a natural talent for writing but you have to know, at the least, basic grammar like subject-verb agreement, using proper tenses, spelling and diction.
You have to read, read, read. Write, write, write. If you cannot allot the time for reading and to practice writing then forget about writing quality articles. Also, write about something you know or are partial to or have genuine interest in. Not only will it be easier to write, you won't be "burdened" by the thought of writing it because it's something you like. Also, people like genuineness.

In order to be a good writer you should write about what you do know. Knowledge is key in writing. Knowledge can be gained through several ways such as experience, studying/research, observation, and it is also sought when there are feelings involved like love. Contrarily, feelings can also develop because of knowledge acquired about a subject.
All in all, what I am trying to say is writing good quality articles will be easier if you write using both your mind and heart. You have to be smart enough to write about it and feel genuinely about it to connect with your readers.

You can write articles for search engines and readers both very easily. High quality content though requires some research and skills. I know many have a different opinion on what high quality is but the truth be told high quality content goes far beyond just proper spelling.
In order to create quality content, your articles must contain proper spelling and grammar, semantically related words, and read at a proper grade level that corresponds to your niche, according the Flesch-Kincaid readability test. This is for both search engines and readers both.

I plan out what I am going to write in my head before I start so I don't get confused or stuck at any point in the writing process.

Make it user friendly.
Avoid long paragraphs that lead into the next. Set out your article into bite sized pieces with sub headings or introductory sentences in bold that captures the readers attention and entices them to read the whole article.
Also as it has been said before, you should already know a lot about the subject matter and research and compile many points of view on the subject.
Finally, of course ensure the keywords you are targeting are contained.

Your article should be grammatically correct, brief, and interesting.
