A Scientific Approach to Writing Page Titles

This is an interesting blog post for us bloggers to take a look at. Coming up with a good title is just as important as the content.

We all know how important page titles are for SEO and just the general success of our blogs and websites, don’t we? Well we are told often enough, so we certainly should… But how many people actually give page titles the amount of attention they actually deserve?

Most clever bloggers spend a little thought on each page title—they think carefully about how to word it in such a way as to get both the search engines and the potential readers to pay attention. But let’s face it, if this is your method, all you are really doing is typing something that “sounds good.”

Today I am proposing a slightly more scientific approach to page titles.

I'll admit that sometimes i just create a title without putting much thought into it and then go back a few days later to edit it a little. lol

Thank you for this post. Writing titles is not easy as 1-2-3. Some writers have a habit of writing titles after they have written the content. Yes, the blog post is right-- writing good titles is more than art and science. It is a skill, that is, anyone is bound to learn and improve.

Titles are very important. I was required to be very specific when writing titles. For example, the topic is about wall decals. You just don't write 'Room Decals'. Tree Decals for Children's Room is more like it.

Title is really very important and one should always take some time to write a good article. A title should be relevant to the content of the web page and should also contain targeted keywords.

Title of a web page should tell users about the content of the web page and it should target high search volume keywords too.
