Writing multiple posts on my wordpress blogsite of simular items?

Hi all, im wondering if i write a series of posts on my blogsite, with headlines with possible search queries - would i be penalised by google for this or is it ok to do?

example: Buying a fishing rod in scotland
were can i buy a fishing rod in scotland
fishing shop in scotland to buy a fishing rod

is this sort of tactic ok to do, and is it effective?

All three sound like they would discuss/explain the same thing to me.

You can write multiple posts of same topic but the content should be different. Don't use same words for all 3 blog posts. Use different words and you will be fine.

If that wasnt treated as duplicated content I'd be shocked.

There's no real reason there should be three posts to answer the same question. If you start writing for readers instead of trying to fool search engines you stand a better chance of having a useful website AND better SERPs.

I would use just one of the titles. Like it has been said, They all tell me buy fishing rods in scotland. I would suggest maybe talking about the fishing rods, the different types, or if there is a certain fishing rod that is made in scotland?
