What tools do you use when writing?

I'm interested to see what tools are used.
I personally use:
Grammarly.
Read-able by WebpageFX.
Copyscape (although Grammarly has a checker, it's wise to use more than 1).
TitleCap.

What do you use?

I use Reverso (reverso.net) for quite long. It's great.

Hi there! For me, I use a writing platform like MS Word, an SEO tool, some researched contents for reference, and grammar-checking tool... Basically, those are the tools I use whenever I'm writing articles...

If I'm writing an article then MS Word and Grammarly are all I need. They are just perfect!

If I'm editing and proofreading some else's work I use Plagiarism Checker from Smart SEO Tools and since it comes with Grammarly it's enough for that job.

Thanks for the Reverso, it seems great at first. Definitely trying it out more!

I personally use Grammarly for checking any spelling and punctuation mistakes i make while writing. Also i use longtail pro for keywords research. As most of content are written for my blog so side by side i optimize content. This the best practice I'm following from many years.

i personally use MS Word and Grammarly which makes me write my article without any grammatical mistakes.

I tend to write in Microsoft word the full blog post without links or even images. Once I got the whole blog post written, I'll proofread it... make changes.

Then copy the content into a blog post... create/insert any images, insert links and use the free spelling and grammar feature that JetPack plugin has to proofread again.

Then I let my paid editor review the blog post, make any updates to it as I hired that person to do certain things and publish it

I like first writing in Microsoft word because I have no distractions on the screen and just want to write the whole blog post without adding special effects or links. The fun part is adding images and links and rewording a little to insert certain links in. When I write blog posts with showing code in it, I just write the whole thing on my blog as those blog posts tend to be short.

My paid editor is my main tool when writing. She knows my writing style or what I am trying to accomplish with my writing and tweaks the content to reflect that but make sure the small details are corrected. Plus she gives me suggestions on certain things that may bother her and I correct them as she is coming to me as a visitor with these suggestions.

i always use Grammarly and Copyscape during writing. Grammarly makes me write my article without any grammatical mistakes.

I prefer MS Word, It has all things i need for writing like shortcut, proofread, counting words. Sometime i use SEO tool to improve my article

How does this help you write in English (or into your own language)? It's a translator. If you write in poorly constructed sentences in the language you are translating, it's going to spit out poorly written content.

You shouldn't have to use a Plagiarism tool when writing content. If you are then that means you are reading something and copying other ideas or other facts and not writing from knowledge/research.

I normally use MS Word with Small SEO plagiarism Tool. But I also check with some other tools such as grammarly, duplichecker

For plagiarism checking Small SEO tool plagiarism checker is quite good. There are some other tools such as grammarly for both plagiarism and grammar checking and Siteliner is also a good tool to provide original content.

This thread is so sad.

It just highlights what a crock of **** is being spewed out across the web by people using 'tools' to aid their lack of ability to write. Plagiarism tools, spun content translators etc??? If you can't write without these tools then do something else as what you are producing is rubbish.

I use a keyboard and browser. I learnt grammar at school, English grammar. I learnt (not learned) more about the art of writing at university, along with the necessary skill of research and self critique.
