Internet Marketing Books and Reviews

Your Marketing Sucks by Mark Stevens
This book cost me $24.00. I want my money back.

Permission Marketing by Seth Godin
Seth Godin's much-talked-about Permission Marketing reviewed.

Brand Warfare by David F. D'Alessandro
The author is the CEO of John Hancock, so it must be worth something.

Emotional Branding by Marc Gobe
Emotional Branding is a long, boring read. The concept could be summed up in 100 words or less, but then that wouldn't be a book, would it?

Internet Marketing for Dummies by Frank Catalano and Bud Smith
Of of the better Internet marketing books I've read. A good emphasis on market research.

Positioning by Al Ries and Jack Trout
Originally published in 1980, this one is a classic piece which pulls no punches. Straight talk on communicating your message in a media-blitzed society.

The Fall of Advertising and the Rise of PR by Al and Laura Ries
One of my favorite books of advertising and PR.

The 22 Immutable Laws Of Branding by Al and Laura Ries
A stimulating read. Although the authors make a feeble attempt at Internet marketing, their lack of SEO expertise is more than obvious. Still, a very stimulating read.

Barron's Marketing by Sandhusen
A class text style guidebook, with Q & A at the end of each chapet, is a leading educational text for marketing professionals.

Getting Hits by Don Sellers
A classic example of the blind leading the blind. Learn how to achieve unprecedented levels of worthless traffic by spamming newsgroups.
